I had a call from Buzzy.
Seems I didn't let him know there is a new trk stop opening.
So here you all go.


The old one in Ayr is shut right down.
They have built an ESSO trk stop down the rd a bit beside the Leisure Travel ctr. It is a full service ctr.

Is this truckstop at exit 268 hwy 97?? near the pete dealer?
I remmember seeing something being built there a few months ago.

Well, that'll be their FIRST mistake. Locating next to a recycled pop can distributor. SHEESH!!

Yes it is BB. I'm not sure when it's opening, but I have to go that way today so I'll stop & see if there is an opening date on the door yet.

There is going to be Nicholby's & a driver through coffee window there. Also a 2 bay trk wash.
It looks pretty close to being done, & they are now hiring staff. There is no sign up as to an opening date.

Sounds kool, i don't get over that way too often, i did see it the one day i was hauling from cedar creek gravel pit into cambridge on 97

I had a look in the doors, & it looks like it will be a really nice one. It's much needed in this area.

Well we have another new truck stop at TILLBURY the ESSO cardlock has been taken over by PILOT :yikes:The parking lot is going to be paved & they are putting in a fuel island for there own fuel customers & i'll bet you there are more to come. I don't think they will let SHELL & the J get too far ahead of them. Know if we can only get PETRO here. :classic:

Well if that continues, you have all the same crap like we have here in the US.
I am talking about all those chains, I only hope you Canadians are more smart and don't let that happen. :wtf:
