Hi there!
I just had a TriPac installed on my truck, it is hooked up to the coolant circuit of the main engine too & supposedly preheats it.
My Volvo only has the analog gauge for the coolant that starts @ 130F, I haven't seen any motion on that one after having the generator running, but I guess it still does something.
My question now is, does anybody know how much of the coolant is circulated how well through the engine, the water pump of the main engine can hardly be integrated.
Does the TriPac do anything to cool down the engine when you stop at the top of a steep hill or do you still have to idle to get the engine back down to normal operating temp & be able to switch it off with less stress?
Thanx & greetz, Ben
