I'm so happy for Dale. He shook off his dad's image & starts a new yr fresh & clean. What a great race for him.

Now don't you guy's start up.
He did an awesome job. He needed to shake DEI, & he did it. Now he can go & play with his team mate's & leave the track for Michael & Tony :harhar: :harhar:
I hope Dale does have a good yr.

Well your all WRONG the 24 and 48 had a dismal showing in the 500 :D , the 5 was on its way to a decent finish before hitting the wall ( Tony sort of gets an ASSIST on it )
The #88 needs to get the PIT side straightened out , another STAY out when he should have pitted and got tires ( lot of that last year ) like everyone else , then too much CHATTER on the radio and he missed the come in command.
MIKEY is still a GOOF , up close and personal with him a few times over the past week.

Michael is not a goof :bop: he stayed back to get Jerritt up. I was getting so frustrated. He did have a car that could run.
I'm really happy for Newman. He really earned it.

He fell back to help the 44 in the qualifier , he just fell back in the 500 , his car was JUNK , we scanned his radio for a bit , got TIRED of the  and his CRYIN.
1 nice thing about being there was you do not have to listen to the CLOWNS from FOX on TV , was it another JIMMY and JEFF reunion or did the actually mention a few of the other 41 drivers.

Fox consistently mentioned the driver/team changes and most of the younger/newer rookie drivers got more air-play than the established teams. The only real play Hendricks got was from the faulty engines most of the teams were plagued with and Jr. and Mears joining the crew.
It was about time a pair of dodges saw the open road. It won't happen much more often now the rice burners found the right set-up.
