Well, I went out and did it, bought myself a brang new MacBook, Parallels, and Microsofts Streets and Trips GPS. Gonna have a go at getting all that working properly and then we'll see about sending and receiving documents in the truck. Off tonite to Yuba City, CA and further to Rio Rico, AZ for our return load. Going to see how much free wireless signal I can swipe. I hope to be able to report that all is working well next friday, or maybe sooner.

The only problem with that MS streets and trips GPS , is you need to leave your computer on all the time, and u need some kind of stand to hold the laptop.
The rough roads could be hard on your computer leaving it on all the time.

The small portable gps units stick to windsheild and work pretty good, do cost more tho, but less chance of damage to your laptop.
