Dohp, geat pictures. Your pictures are perfect. I'd post some of mine but I always seem to end up with someone's head in the shot. This year i'm going to go earlier so it's not as busy. Here's hoping.

i get the trucks up there tuesday night or wednesday morning normally, so i can clean them up after the drive up. Having a good camera helps with the quality of the pics. I had a Canon A95, and it finally died, so i have a Canon Rebel XT and a Canon A720 IS. So i'll have even better quality shots this year. Since i'm there for 5 days normally it leaves lots of time to get pics when things are slower/when the crowds arn't there yet.

Do you always run coast to coast with no sleeper?

I'm looking at a 36' bunk to put on there only because I'll be bringing someone with me throughout the summer and having the bunk will make things a lot easier, but in answer to your question, yes.

do you ever have trouble finding a motel or hotel with truck parking nearby?

wow i thought it was bad driving 1400 km's a day in a Int'l 5600 dump truck, but i always knew i had a Holiday inn to stay in at night. You got air ride, but that's still a tour for a day cab. Does that raise any flags at the scales out there? no cab being 4 days from home?
