Many of you already know me as the "Old Man from Con-Way" and know that I am too old to blow smoke of anyone's kilts. I have contracted to a nationwide carrier, both U.S. and Canada, and we are in need of your trucks.

As you might expect, you will still have to conform to Canadian rules, i.e. insurance, I would believe that you have to have Canadian insurance, even if you do contract to an American Carrier.

Rates all depend on what size truck.
Benefits would say you are a company driver, insurance is available at a low rate. but not sure if it would be cheaper than OOIDA
Home time would be approximately, every couple weeks, or more often depending on your delivery.
As this company only hires Owner Operators, they just offer the option.

When more information becomes available I will make a post to let all of your members have a better idea of what is going on. If this was Con-Way Now I could tell you, but being FedEx CC will have to explore the options, which I will do tomorrow. Thanks Bookworm
