Well, guess I should start looking for a truck school...

I've got plans in the works to drive straight trucks out of Ontario, then move on to semis sometime, I can do the straight truck driving in my sleep... I know that for a fact :yikes:

But I'd like to go straight to an AZ semi licence straight off. No point messing around eh?

So, where's good (and not too costly) in southern Ontario?

I've been practicing online for the questions, I still have an old MB airbrake book around here someplace. Any that do a short course for people who have occasional access to a clue?

Hello, Everyone

I've been checking around the various truck training driver schools in Southern Ontario.

I just found out today, Tuesday May 1, 2007 that Markel in Guelph no longer offers their "AZ" truck driver training program.
This took affect in January 2007

Markel has refocus their business and attention into other areas of the truck and transportation industry.
They teach people who want to become Instructors. Train the Trainers.
Also, Professional Truck Drivers who already have their "AZ" license and been driving a truck with years of experience and need to get a refresher program.

The other schools

KRTS in Caledonia

Humber College in Toronto

Ontario Truck Driving School in London

Modern Trucking Dot.com in Hamilton

Ontario Truck Driving Academy in Oshawa

Has any one heard or attend this school?

"Transport Training Centres of Canada"
Driver Safety and Trade Skill Development

They have twenty campus across Ontario. They just open a new campus in Cambridge across from Challenger Motor Frieight.

Have a good day and week.
Drive safe on the roads.............
