The truth is stranger than fiction category! About 5 years ago one morning I was having brunch at the old Hoosier Pride Truckstop on I 69 at the Wolverine broder. They had a radio station on that gave the morning news. One item was from upstate Minn. where a beaver had swum across the river from Canada and then proceeded to wander into the US Postal Distribution Center. When it was discovered and the tracks from the river bank proved whence it had arrived, a controversy arose as to how to return the illegal alien to its home and native land. Especially being as how Customs and Immigration are very sticky about wildlife arriving especially without any stamps from a Postal Service. So I could not resist the obvious, and told everyone listening that they should realize that the Canadian Beaver is a natural wetback.

How stupid can our government's be. Man how many times do you think these animals have gone back & forth? What about if they made it with a CDA beaver? What happens then?
I wish a beaver would bite them. ;)

Yes we did. Last week they were looking for someone to transport it back to CA. Last I heard, someone was coing up to take it back.
