the new pc miler navigator 430 stand alone gps powered by co pilot? I have read on some of the American message boards saying it has flaws and they rushed it fir the Christmas season. But I doubt they have even tried it since it only came out on dec 5th. I seen them at a TA for $300 has anyone seen them online for cheaper? I am getting sick of my P.O.S garmin that likes to constantly send me down low clearence routes just about every single time when drivng through the cities in west virgina. But the price for the gps almost sounds to good to be true. 300 bucks for the stand alone gps unit equipped with co pilot , then there is the co pilot program with gps reciever those 2 things alone cost more than the pc miler navigator 430. Doesn't seem right to me

i have seen them at the fifth wheel in milton for about $400, but my regular gps works fine, if i am not sure of the routing i always call and ask for directions or else go on google maps and check the routing.

just today i called for a directions into a place, and they told me to go down some skinny little road in town, and i my gps was telling me to stay on the state route, well i did what i they told me, and sure enough there was a low railway bridge 11 feet high on the state route, so i would have came to that if i had followed my gps.

another weird thing i found, in hamitlon ontario, i was on a truck route heading north for burlington street, and came to a bridge marked 3.8 metres.
i stopped cuz i was not sure of my height in metres, but i was low enough anyway, but why would that even be a truck route, since van trailers would not be able to get under??

ive got co-pilot 9, on my laptop. only time it ever left me in the dark, was in orangeville S.C. instead of taking the right, like it said (which wound me up in a farmers field) i should have taken the left.
