as it is not POLITICAL, RECENT NEWS or LOCAL but it does concern you and your Point Of View.

RECENTLY, The amount of money collected by MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers) was questioned and the amount actually spent to enhance their campaigns was exposed to be less than 25% of donations. The rest was spent on ADMINISTRATION.

Today it was revealed The Canadian RED CROSS collected over $300 million for the TSUNAMI RELIEF of 2 years ago. Problem is only 32% of the donations has gone overseas to the areas affected.

Are you questioning where you donated to or do you just give your money away without any concern for it's use.

I expect any donations I make to be used for that cause immediately, not to sit idle or to pay someone to go wineing and dining.

Things like this are the reason we make donations of;
Canned foods to the local food shelf.
Used clothing to the local chapter of the Salvation Army.
That way everything we donate is used locally. No $$$ wasted on 'administrative fees' and such.

Only thing I donate anymore is to local foodbank, and Salvation Army. Always figured someone lives a good life off donations to others, not all are volunteers.

Yep I know a local president ( Germany) he drives a nice Yacht.

No I stopped donations a long time ago. Knowing somebody who is in need and helping him , this is my kind of donations.
