The local by-law enforcement officer made an inspection of this property and brought along EIGHT (8) OPP officers. Over kill @ it's best.

While I wouldn't want that mess in my neighbourhood I can't see where EIGHT (8) police officers were required especially as there probably isn't EIGHT officers that work out of the detachment.

Ok, I made it to about a minute into the second video before I had to shut it off. While I agree that eight OPP officers attending a bylaw enforcement issue might seem a bit excessive, I think the bylaw officer and the cops handled themselves with remarkable restraint while dealing with this idiot. There are always two sides to every story, clearly we are seeing the issue only from this mouthy twit's point of view. I'd be interested in seeing the outcome of whatever court case it is that he keeps referring to in the videos, which by the way won't to anything to help his case. I had to laugh at the point where he talks about the idling OPP cruiser polluting the environment. This, after a long video tour of his junkyard of a "farm".

i have seen his videos before, they are pretty funny.

he has a big farm, so its not like the junk cars are in town or anything, they aren't even near the road, so i don;t see the big deal.

funny they brought that many cops, and why are the blocking his driveway?

You're tougher than I am, a minute of each and I felt my mind numbing!

My beef is EIGHT OPP officers wasting their time escorting ONE by-law enforcement officer. Bet they don't send ONE OPP officer with a by-law officer EVERY time a complaint is investigated.

here is the link to the london free press http://lfpress.ca/newsstand/News/Local/2009/09/03/10734841.html

it says he is making around $14 000 a month from youtube, just for posting videos of wrecking junk cars, pretty sweet money i think.

I agree with Ralph about the excessive show of force by the OPP, but have even less sympathy for this twit after reading the article Bikerboy linked to. It appears the bylaw officer was there in response to several complaints about the property and was simply doing his job by inspecting the premises for violations. At $14,000 a month just for posting stupid videos on YouTube, this idiot obviously was trying to provoke a scene to gain even more notoriety.

well he has to post entertaining videos to make his money,he is always taping anything that can get viewers on youtube and the bylaw officer really brought it on himself by bringing that many opp with him, dave seems like a good guy, i am sure one or two opp would have been more then enough.

and why do the opp need to idle the car all the time? he does have a point, they are wasting taxpayer money idling for nothing.
