Hello drivers!
I am a 3rd year Journalism student in Halifax, NS looking into a possible story regarding the zero emissions or ultra low sulfar diesel regulations for trucks. As owner/operators can you tell me how you think will affect your industry? Do you anticipate a lot of extra expense and time for additional maintenance because of the technology? Do you think there should be some sort of government compensation for truck drivers who invest in this technology as there is for car owners get compensated for ugrading their old vehicles?
Just looking at this discussion as a starting point so please feel free to let me know how things look from your vantage point. All feedback is appreciated.
