Wow. We get our temp licenses right away here in BC. They issue them right in the same office we get our insurance.....

must be something to do with the strike, normally you get your temp licence right after you pass the road test, on the spot.
so hopefully you will get it soon, maybe you can call drivetest or MTO and see whats up, or try going into a drivers and vehicles licence office, the ones that never were on strike, and ask them if they can print you off a new temp licence, if you had lost your temp licence thats what they would do for you.

i do believe it has something to do with the stike, the examiner said they would purolate the licence so that i would not have to go to a drive test office for it. the test was done off site because of the strike. but 3 weeks seems long. i will try to track down some phone numbers tomorrow and see if i can find out whats up.
is it the drive test office that issues the temp or the licence office where you get your tags and such?

the licence office where you get tags, should be able to check in the computer to see if your licence shows class AZ in their computers, and you could tell them you lost it, and if their computer shows you have AZ, they can print you off a new temp licence for around ten bucks i think it is, thats what i would do anyway.
or go in and ask to buy a drivers abstract, it will also show what class licence is in their computer system, then tell them you want a temp licence printed.

Did you take a course with a driving school? When I did my road test, they Purolated the temp licence to the school two days later.
