Hey all, Oh my it's another newbie in this type of business but I've been around for a while. Used to work in the steel fab business and loaded a few thousand trucks mostly for the oil business. I found myself taking too many of those pink slips through out my life and this last one just blew me away(working for the auto industry parts supplier, thought I had it made to retirement then the rug got pulled out from under and went to Mexico) and I got to thinking and said to myself "self" why don't you just go and drive a truck so off I went, put the money on the table and took a whack of courses.
The thing is I only went for my DZ and maybe later with some adjustment and experience I'll take the test for the A. I did just land a good paying driving job even though it's only seasonal but with the way the economy is, for now that's great. I'll be looking at the white lines throughout Ont. starting next month. Did some driving last year but only a G 24ft straight and now it'll be a 26fter and a lot of hauling. Can't wait. I do however have a couple of questions to ask so I guess it's off to the other section of this forum. Thanks for having an ear and for the welcome
