NORTH DUMFRIES – A car rolled into a ditch and cracked a natural-gas line just off Roseville Road Thursday night, after the driver swerved to avoid a deer. No one was injured.

One thing I have never understood about natural gas is why "excess flow" valves aren't used as they are in propane. Natural gas blowing out of the ruptured pipe for over an hour seems excessive!
