Be Your Own Boss, Immediate Income, Earn up to $3000/wk
That is the heading of an add in the Waterloo Record Classifieds on Sat.
"Start your own trucking business. Guaranteed long term work contracts for cargo vans, 3 and 5 ton straight trucks and highway tractors. 100% financing with approved credit." (Should I post the number?)
Something doesn't smell right with this. Full finance, nothing down, 3 grand a week. That sound similar to some of the never never lease plans. No credible lender would touch that.

Don't sound kosher to me but if anyone wants the number they can PM you I suppose.
Hell with it -- Go ahead and post the number ---- anyone complains I can take the blame.

They used to advertise as Kennedy Transportation, lately I believe they don't list a name. Something about that ad always smelled bad. Never called but I suspect it's a leasing company with contacts at carriers.

Exactly, I think the straight trucks are leased to one of those scabby GTA based carriers that run either ltl or expedited freight.

NO you wouldn't!
You two old dogs would have the recruiter pulling his/her hair out with all the questions you'd be asking. I'd like to be a fly on the wall during the interview process though, it would be funny as hell.

That would be funny, poor recruiter experienced or not would be questioning his/hers own sanity once these 2 would be done . I'd love to be a fly on the wall for that one also. Most def would learn something and have a laugh sametime.

Add me in the fly team, let's see the recruiter's tear coming down his/her face.
