I got a phone call last Thursday night from my sil.
His father was in hospital on life support.
He had been bleeding internally for 2 day's before he called Scott.
By the time they got him to the hospital, his organ's were shutting down.
His gallbladder is a gravel pit. He has liver & kidney disease, his lung's don't work on their own, & he need's a tripple by pass. The man is only 67. He never took care of himself. He had a stroke before Christmas, & never followed up with the Dr.
Now all the kid's have been called in. They will probably remove the life support by Monday, as there is no way he can make it without this.
I have been in Chatham helping my daughter & sil with the girl's & taking turn's sitting @ the hospital with Ken.
Scott & his brother Vince share the night shift's so he won't be alone. these boy's are carring a load.
Once they decide to take him off the support, it could be anywhere from right away to who know's.
So I'll be going back once thing's a over.
I'm really po's @ his mother & told her. This isn't about her ex husband. It's about helping the kid's out while they go through this. She lives 20 min's from them & won't babysit the girl's while they try to work & go to the hospital.
I'm glad Scott knows he can count on me.
Any way, if you see I'm gone again, it's because I've gone to make the funeral arrangement's with Scott.
