Hey Folks, just read an article in highway Star of july 2010, page 10-11. Very interesting look like there's more drivers who have sign theirs card with Teamsters then there's who vote for Challenger at the 2nd annual "Best Fleet to Drive For". on 17 carriers , 7 are Canadian carriers: Bison, Brian Kurtz, Lailaw Van, Mackinnon, MSM , Shulist, an Yanke. Where's Challenger???. Talking with a Cambridge driver that was explaining that at the begining that he been ask by Dan to nominate Challenger!!!
Like that one to about Tracy Shulist when saying "...she doens't even have an expensive HR program or full time driver trainers, let alone a million-dollar simulator" or " We don't have numbers or robots working for us, we have people"
My prefer one from Peter Carter " Carriers with that philosophy are the good ones to drive for"
So what you think about-it??

And I've had truck drivers tell me that get a brand new 379 Pete/W900L KW EVERY trip because they are so good!
Don't know how to tell you this but truck drivers have been know to embelish the truth/lie once in a while.
And again I ask, If you job is so chitty why continue to hang around ESPECIALLY with a list like that! Time to dust off your resume and send it to Aberfoyle, Winnipeg and Guelph. I'll bet they are hiring!
ps:Say HI to Don in Aberfoyle for me!

Well Ralph the main reason that I stay there is that the thing haven't always like that; few years ago it was still fun to work there, I'm 53 an have invest 16 years of my life, my carreer there. An actually we are doing a campain for the Teamsters, to have them in place , so I don't think that it's the time to leave in the middle of the battle, I'm not that type of guy , I always goes to the end of it, good or bad! I.m one of those optimistic person who think that thing can always been improved , even if it look impossible ( By the way impossible is not a french word). Even if to a lot of peoples it look stupid to stay there, I don't see what will be positive if I go start somewhere else a the bottom of the stairs just to prove that I can do it, it is harder doing what me an other folks are doing now , but at the end of it I firmly believe that it worth it!

Anyway they where not even in the finalist list, so that must tell a lot, as those who are selected are by the drivers!!:asking:
