I'm heading west tomorrow. Going to Chatham to see my granddaughter's. I'll be back maybe, on Monday. Depending on the weather.
Hey, I can call in from Chatham & I know he won't send anyone down there to get me. :D

Where ever you go this week, stay safe & warm.

No one out running this week?

Well looks like I'll be staying home today.
Friday my pipes for my muffler split, so I had them clamped. The pipe's are now going to get replaced. ;) The clamp is coming off again. I really don't want to put any more money inot this car, as I'm looking @ a new one in the spring. I hope. Also snowing here again today. I went & bought the girl's their valentine stuff to take to them. Looks like it won't be this weekend. :crying:

You all be safe out there, like I said, there's more coming.

Most Dispatchers and Traffic Managers will caution you to NEVER admit or indicate what your cargo is or who your customers are. It is for both your personal safety and the chance that a scalper will scoop your freight or God forbid a hijacking! More than once I have told a slightly misleading story for personal preservation. Like the time I had 4 skids of firearm replacement repair parts aboard as the final LTL drop. When asked or had the natural chance to say what was aboard it was "rejected recalled defective dog food for destruction"! That load was in fact the auctioned off going out of business proceeds when the new gun control act was implemented. You could not have assembled a working firearm from it but no sense taking the chance on the potential situation! The previous drop was @ the Sask. Mental Health Hospital in Moose Jaw with a slew of new laundry carts and tables! Don't touch that line!

My hubby is going to Harrisburg PA to pick up and deliver load # 1 north of there. Then back to Harrisburg for load # 2 to deliver in
Smyrna DE and home! It's raining in MD, hopefully the temps won't drop too much.
