Last week I was given a 20 oz coffee mug (thermos type) that will fit in the cup holder in the western star.
Now, these things are sold under the name of coffee CHUBBYS and quite a few of our drivers have them.
This morning I was up at head office and stopped at the T.H to get a refill before going in to a meeting.
I had both arms full of paperwork, carrying my coffee and trying to get my employee swipe card out for the front door.
Struggling, and losing my grip on the paperwork, the receptionist comes to the security door, opens it and then asks if she could hold my "chubby" while I get my files in order.
Now, head office has 25 people working within ear shot of that security door, and me being me I couldn't let it go!
I just looked her eye to eye and suggested maybe we should go for dinner first before we get personal.
Poor thing, took her a good 5 minutes to catch on what had just happenned. But in 5 minutes e-mails were flying. They knew about it already before I got back to my own terminal.
