Was checking out the Job Bank in Alberta and found this job for Truck Owner Operator in Fox Creek,AB. Saw the salary and thought maybe it was a typo but when i clicked on the link it still shows $25,000.00 to $35,000.00 monthly for 60 hours per weeks. Is this for real? Make me wish i bought my uncle's truck when i got the chance, man for that money anyone could by a new truck and still get way ahead.

So average $30,000 for 240hr's, =$125hr gross, fuel, truck payments, insurance, tires, chains, brokerage for the train, brokerage for the carrier, maintenance & depreciation = about $100hr, yep you can make $25 hr 60 hr's/ week before taxes when everything is going good, just don't break down, slow down or hit a moose. Easy money. ;)

Your right on that Pipeman, mud up to your Ying-YANG!!! I remember having to go out to a rig when I was still running semi-vac. There was no way I was going to drive in cause of mud up to my butt!! Well they needed the load out, so the CAT drags me in and drags me back out. Then ya spend all day cleaning turds of mud outta your rims and etc. Its hard on equipment out there.

Mud, mosquitos or frozen-over hell... take your pick.
I've turned down a few "promotions" to Fox Creek over the years.

This spring we had to send the bodyjobs in with the big tires as the tankers kept getting stuck. The tires kept sliding off though.

Blue i seen you write this a few times. If I may, have you looked over your resume, or even have someone look it over.
You know maybe needs some tweaking here n there, and bam you get calls.
Remember, when Interviewer/screener recieves all these resumes, he/she quickly goes over them and creates two piles. 1 call back, 2 -Maybe pile which usually translates to G13 file, garbage bucket.
So if you're the person screening these resumes, do you think you will read right through to the end, NO but rather skim through it and if catches your eye or, interesting or special skills or what have you, then you make it to round 2 the call back file.
Point is has to catch there attn quick and shine, and have them thinking oh I definitely want to talk to this person.
Think of it as you advertising yourself. Short n Sweet(no pun intended)
Many are good at what they do but fail in SELLING themselves which is the resumes first step.
Just a few thoughts that may help in reviewing your resume.
Hope it helps you
