Software pirating.....

I heard in a 680AM News article this morning about software pirating and the efforts by the alliance that is fighting it that they have a rewards program for anyone reporting the illegal use of business software. The rewards can total as high as $50,000Cdn. That is not chump change!

There is a market in Glasgow (The Barras Market), you can get any kind of software, dvd's, music there. In fact it was reported recently that the film industry in America actually get reports on activity at the market to let them know how quickly films are pirated.. The current figure is about a week from a film being 'canned' for dispatch until it's copied, produced in the Far East and then despatched and sold 'doon the barras' (as they say in Glasgow).

The police raid the market every so often, but they're (the pirateers) back the next week as bold as brass.

So if you get me list of what you want, I'll nip down and get it for you (just joking there Accremonius!!!).
