OK been a member here for a short time, and haven't contributed much . . . :36_1_50[1]:
So cruzin' through thread topics I saw here . . .
I thought I would share a tip for health
10 months ago I had a health issue . . . and decided to eat healthy.
Of course I tend to go a little overboard in anything I do . . .
so I started to eat veggies mostly only, -boiled-
3 weeks later I was . . . OK no visuals . . . saw myself it the mirror and said
"Whooa buddy" and jumped on the scale . . .
minus 30 lb in 3 weeks . . . no shaving cream sherlock.
all in all I have lost 50 lbs
went from 205 to 155
Never felt healthier nor acted healthier.
I did have food addictions to overcome :hungry: and it wasn't easy
it is a year later and I am mostly over the addictions.
Just thought to share.

Wow that's good! I need to lose a couple pounds for sure lol. Wish I had a fridge in my truck to keep veggies in.

That's a big weight loss in a short period of time, i hope it was medically supervised. Just make sure you are eating enough calories for your height, weight and age. If your feeling good than good for you for making healthier changes.

I never realized you had no sleeper when you've posted about being stuck in the truck overnight. Yuck!

I thought I was only 15 or so lbs over . . .
but I lost it everywhere

To be sure, I had trouble breathing when I bent over to tie my Boots
I run up stairs now instead of climbing them
I use to throw my back walking briskly over grass
now I can run quickly over pavement, and no back issues.
I use to eat from the time I finished work til I went to bed,
I use to have acid reflux problems . . . not no more . . . well ever so slightly
where as before, just a snack of any kind ment taking a zantac.
The Doctor prescribed zantac to me three years prior . . .
There's your medically supervised methodology. :asking:
Tee Hee . . . Just sharin' a word of encouragement (~:

I've got a sleeper, buts its a coffin pretty much. Just a little flat top one. No shelves for clothes or anything. Just a bunk.

Good for you, Bradley. I wish I had the drive to do that. My Dr. wants me to lose a bit. I'm not a big veggie guy though.

Bradley, do you eat any meat at all now? do you trip over the odd artery clogging Big Mac?

I will eat chicken and fish if it is lightly cooked
no skin just cause I heard it isn't good for you ???
Nothing crispy
I have found some weenies that are toted as all natural no msg, no fillers like wheat or gluten stuff
I eat them cold as a snack 2-4 a night.
But the big thing is no bread . . . like no grains.
Corn is the worst . . .
. . . but I do have rice once in a while . . .
so I just buy the most expensive sushi rice.
No sugars except in my 4 pots of coffee a day . . .

I like rice. I eat quite a bit of that Basmati rice which is a bit different than regular rice and might be an aquired taste...
I think the danger of rice would be the temptation to douse it in butter if weight loss is your goal.
