Had a nice surprise last night

Kerwin was draggin me around from store to store yesterday. :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry: I sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo detest shopping. All I wanted to do was come home & go to my bed. By 6:45pm, I wanted to kill him. He decided he wanted to go to the Manderine. I just wanted to go home. We got the Manderine. ;) 45 min to an hr wait. I don't think so i said. Then he went to look @ the buffet. ;) Next I'm being pulled into a room with a table of friend's & my family. :yikes: :yikes: I was really off guard, as my birthday isn't until next week. Mel & Scott asked me to go to Niagar Falls next Friday, as they are going to a concert, & Mel still won't leave the girl's over night. So I'm the babysitter. I thought even for them, this was very fishy. :wtf: Through my senses right off. :wow: It was very much a surprise. :yikes: I hear from my daughter in NS, that I must not have known about it, as I looked like Sh$$ ;)
It was a wonderful evening, & my daughter, sil, & granddaughter's stayed over night. :D :D :D :D Ally had ice cream for her 1st breakfast. :wicked:
It was good to see everyone, & I thank them all for making my day. What about next week you ask????
I'll be in Niagara Falls babysitting on my birthday.. ;) They were serious about it :doh: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Glad you had a good time and enjoyed time with family and friends.When any of you are in Niagara Falls there is a must go see. The Butterfly Conservatorium where you can walk in among live butterflies all year round. I will post a few pics for your inspection. It is located about 1 5/8 miles up river from the Queenston/Lewiston Bridge Portal, in the Federal Park along the Niagara Parkway (River Rd). It is $12.00Cdn for adults and Seniors get a break only during this time of year & only on Tues or was it Wed.

Holly, there is another place that some people like to visit closer to downtown but on the Niagara Parkway with free underground parking next door, is the Bird Sanctuary. (Just East of the Falls.) Not everyone likes to go inside where there are birds flying around but this one is rather good, plus children get to see exotics and hear them calling! If I get a moment later I will scan a couple of 35mm s into memory to post.
(am running on very short of sleep just now... a want to be blond family member forgot her passport in the Carribean and I had to run into the Pearson with other documents in the wee hours for a late arriving flight. Only to find out after much confusion that the said document was forgotten but sat on almost all the way home, some people! And for all those employees at Pearson who looked at me like I was daft, your the brain dead that we tax payers are carring on our backs. I don't know of a greater collection of incomprehesibles anywhere else! You can't even find a Queen's Cowboy or Girl at that time of the morning if you can believe that.)
The Radio phone call from Miami that got me out of bed half awake to drive was revenge for some past indiscretion against Murphy I guess!
P.S.
Later, found 3 of 5 digital pics that didnot exceed the maximum byte ceiling. Also "inside" is a Javanese carved wood Pagoda (no nails) where you can have a sandwich and beverage of your choice in atmosphere!
