Truckstop Canada News: Truck World to follow in the steps of successful ExpoCam
Posted on Friday, May 18 @ 12:56:48 CEST by Harry

PHP-Nuke TORONTO -- The trucking capital of Canada is getting ready to move west down Hwy 401 next year.

Montreal proved to be worthy of the title in April, as close to 18,000 exhibitors and visitors crowded into Place Bonaventure for ExpoCam 2007. Exhibitors said it was "the best and biggest" trucking show ever held in Montreal.

That success will be repeated next year at Truck World 2008 in Toronto.

Truck World is the alternate year equivalent of ExpoCam. Tradeshow Week magazine ranked Truck World in the Top 10 Canadian trade shows in 2004 and 2006. The show attracts 20,000 industry professionals from across Canada and the U.S., who will meet with more than 400 exhibitors on a 300,000 sq ft exhibit floor.

Exhibitors will feature the latest in trucks, trailers, heavy duty parts and accessories, engines and power train components, service shop equipment and supplies, tires, fuels, financial services, and many other products and services used in the trucking industry.

Truck World 2008 runs from April 17, 2008 to April 19th at the International Centre, 6900 Airport Road, in Toronto.

The Ontario Trucking Association and the Canadian Trucking Alliance are supporting Truck World. The show’s Advisory Board includes a virtual who’s who of the industry.

Truck World is owned and produced by Newcom Business Media Inc., Canada’s leading trucking media company. Newcom also owns and produces ExpoCam (Montreal), CamExpo (Quebec City), the Rocky Mountain Truck Show (Edmonton) and the Winnipeg Truck Show.

The company is the largest trucking publisher in Canada, producing Transport Routier, Today’s Trucking, highwaySTAR and Truck & Trailer.
